Botulinum toxin injections are mainly used for smoothing wrinkles, but it can provide a treatment for excessive sweating of the underarms, soles or palms. Our plastic surgeon examines you during a consultation and answers all of your questions concerning the intervention.

No preliminary preparations are needed.
The course of the intervention
The intervention consists of injecting a diluted solution of botulinum toxin into the area in question and is performed in local anesthesia. Botox works by preventing the activation of sweat glands, reducing the amount of sweat they produce. The intervention takes 30 minutes.
Recovery and aftercare
The result of the treatment usually shows 4 weeks after the intervention, and lasts for 5-6 months.
