Hepatitis B vaccination
Vaccination against type B viral hepatitis
Basic immunization is guaranteed by three doses of vaccination for both children and adults. The only exceptions are teenagers aged 11-15, as for them, 2 doses are sufficient for achieving the same effect. Healthy recipients do not need a booster dose. There must be a one-month interval between the first and the second doses, and the third injection should be received after 5-11 months. If you do not have time to wait because of a planned trip, the second dose can be administered after 7 days, and the third after 21 days. However, in this case a booster dose will be necessary 12 months later. Allergic reactions and acute diseases are the only contraindications.
