Dr. Rose  Obstetrics DTP-IPV

DTP vaccination provides protection against three diseases: diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus. The first injection is given at 2 months, and is repeated at 3 and 4 months, then at 18 months and the age of 6. A booster dose has to be administered at the age of 11.
24-48 hours after getting the vaccination, mild symptoms, such as fever might appear, but these can be assuaged by medication. The scar might feel tender or swollen, but it does not require any other treatment besides a cold compress.

IPV: It is a vaccination against poliomyelitis or infantile paralysis, containing inactivated pathogens. It is given at the same time as DPT, at 2 months of age. Booster doses are also administered at the same time as those of the DPT. Vaccination is given by injection.
